Background Information

Oral and maxillofacial surgery requires several additional years of hospital based surgical and anesthesia training after graduation from dental school. As a Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, Dr. Turesky manages a wide variety of problems relating to the mouth, teeth and facial regions for patients of all ages.

Dr. Turesky practices a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with expertise ranging from Dental Implant Surgery and Impacted Wisdom Tooth Removal to Tooth Extraction and Facial Trauma. This includes a wide range of Bone Grafting techniques designed to rebuild jaw bone structure with minimal surgical intervention and maximal patient comfort. He also treats dental/facial infections, failed root canals, impacted canines, jaw fractures, oral pathology, facial pain and TMJ disorders in addition to many other oral and maxillofacial surgical problems.

Dr. Turesky’s practice specializes in the management of patient anxiety and pain control and provides a full range of anesthetic options including: Local Anesthesia, Intravenous General Anesthesia, Intravenous Conscious Sedation, Nitrous Oxide Gas Anesthesia and Oral Sedation.

Our staff is trained in assisting with Intravenous (I.V.) Sedation and General Anesthesia within our state of the art office facilities. Patients are continuously monitored during and after surgery. Dr. Turesky is a certified provider of Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Basic Life Support. All clinical staff personnel are Basic Life Support certified. Our offices are equipped and licensed to provide out patient intravenous general anesthesia, intravenous conscious sedation, and nitrous oxide gas anesthesia.
