Rasa Erfan, DDS

Dr. Erfan is an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon with training and experience in advanced surgical procedures, including wisdom tooth management and dental extractions, bone grafting and dental implant surgery, office-based sedation, facial trauma, pathology, and orthognathic and TMJ surgery.

She was raised in Ontario, Canada, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Medical Science and her Master of Management of Applied Science from Western University. She then moved to New York to obtain her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University, graduating summa cum laude. Dr. Erfan subsequently completed her residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, where she received comprehensive training in oral and maxillofacial surgery, anesthesia, and hospital-based surgical care.

Dr. Erfan is committed to lifelong learning and maintaining the highest standards of patient care. She is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the Massachusetts Society of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons and the Massachusetts Dental Society. She is dedicated to creating a positive patient experience through personalized, evidence-based treatment plans that optimize outcomes. She holds certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support , and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.

Outside of her clinical practice, Dr. Erfan enjoys traveling, reading, playing tennis, and spending time with her family.
